Corporate charter
The Foundation’s Charter states its only purpose is to assist in raising money and awareness for issues impacting health and educational access for children.
We are governed by our Board of Directors, certain officers of Driven Brands, LLC. Our By-laws (Sec. 3.9) provide for the appointment of this Advisory Board, consisting of this group, and two other Driven Brands Officers.
Governance
An annual meeting to review larger material activities and undertake strategic discussion.
The Advisory Board shall provide a report of the actions and recommendations of such committees for consideration and approval by the board of directors of the Foundation.
Bylaws – Statement of Purpose
The Foundation is organized for charitable purposes, including, but not limited to assisting in raising money and awareness for issues impacting our communities, including without limitation, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Sections 501(c)(3) and 170(c)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code The Foundation will look to guidance and advice of its Advisory Board in overseeing the goals and actions of the Foundation.
